What's a pub quiz?
Probably one of the best group activities there is 🙂 Pub quiz is a social gathering in which people, divided in teams, answer various questions, usually about general knowledge and/or pop culture. Due to TV quiz shows, pub quiz became very popular in Croatia over the last couple of years.
As its name suggests, pub quiz is usually taking place in a pub, caffe bar or a restaurant. It can also be organized in open space, providing the weather is nice. Before the Covid-19 pandemics, many pubs and bars organized pub quizzes in order to attract more guests during the workdays.
Apart from socializing and having fun over couple of drinks, every pub quiz has a competitive aspect to it. Teams are always going for the win that is rewarded in some way, whether it’s money, food&drinks, merch, sponsorship packages or just a sense of intellectual superiority. 🙂
