Pub quiz in a nutshell

1
  • People are divided in groups of 4-5 people. Each team gets a paper to write their answers on.
2
  • Quiz master is hosting a quiz presentation, visible on a large screen.
3
  • Standard pub quiz contains about 30-40, interestingly formulated questions, usually accompanied by multimedia (photo, sound, video, GIF)
4
  • For each question there is approximately 1 minute time during which teams write down their answers on a paper form. Meanwhile, the music is playing in the background to set to mood and prevent groups from eavesdropping on each other.
5
  • Googling for answers during the quiz is strictly forbidden, fair play only 🙂
6
  • Quiz is divided in two parts. At the end of each part there is a 10 minute break.
7
  • During the break, quiz master is checking the answers and announcing the current team rankings.
8
  • At the end quiz master announces the winning team and rewards are given to top teams.
9
  • Total duration is about 2 hours, but it can be reduced to shorter time frame.
